The app’s content is built around compelling storytelling and informative articles that showcase WWF’s impact and highlight the vital role supporters play. Social sharing is seamlessly integrated to amplify the message, inspiring a wider movement for positive change.
Delivery of the App
The MVP was brought to market quickly, launching in perfect alignment with the David Attenborough documentary. Since its release, engagement has remained strong, with over 200,000 downloads across the App Store and Play Store. To date, users have completed an impressive 160,000 challenges—demonstrating meaningful behavioural change among nearly 100,000 registered users.
The app serves as a powerful tool for WWF’s strategic partners, driving sustainability initiatives such as Earth Hour through interactive challenges. Its impact has been widely recognised, earning multiple design and impact awards while also being featured multiple times on the App Store in curated lists and collections.
